My first love story with music... Piano!

I started to play Piano in 1995 after meeting a friend, Julien Padovani, in an art class in High School.

Julien played the piano brilliantly and I was especially captured by the Impromptu Fantasia of F.Chopin. From this moment my attention was absorbed in the music. I immediately felt in love with the piano!

My mother bought me a keyboard and a year later we rented an upright acoustic piano because I was now able to play the First Prelude in C Major by JS. Bach.

In 1997, I won my first piano competition at a well known concert hall, La Salle Pleyel in Paris. After 3 years with my piano teacher, I enrolled in the well known creative arts school, Conservatoire de Tours.in Tours, France.

Piano is my primary passion. From studying piano, I learned a great deal about myself and musical art by practicing this instrument every day (5 to 8 hours) for 6 years. It was intense!! I think, though, if you really want to be a good musician, you must be disciplined with yourself. This is true for high level music and art in general.

Music is fantastic and it has added beauty to my life.

I love JS Bach, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Schubert, F Liszt, Monk, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, M Petrucciani, Glen Gould...

"It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today.

No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is,
but the world as it will be".
