today I'de like to introduce you to a wonderful friend of mine who doest hand made craft pottry and ceramics.

Let me tell you about Claire De Werbier :
At the beginning, it's almost like every one; she went to school and for quite a good time!! Happily, we don't exactly know all that when we come into a classroom for the first time! And then, the years go by...At home , she's doing odd jobs, stick, unstick, stick back; cut, cut up, doodle, draw, she daub with paint. Why not doing all that at school? Of course there are the books, the tales, the fairy tales from here and there, the fantastic novels, the foreign languages and hup...it will be a Litteraryand Artistic A level.
Later, she found a special school and in Tarbes in France: Photography, Graphic Arts, sculpture, some clay to model, some throwing, modelling pieces of pottery, colours; an experience and a lot of approaches for this matter: clay whatever it is, crockery, sandstone, « raku », clay baked with wood, gas or electricity.
And then, the meetings with people having passions for their activity: potters, artist painters or anybody who enjoys creating and make other people dream. It's very incentive to go on one's way; you know what's going to happen , or nearly: before settling in Pontchateau, she stopped in a bigger and southern city: Toulouse; stayed there for five years. Her workshop was situated in a street, with a shopwindow, shops all around it, and with working hours.
Now, her days aren't ordered according the closing or opening of the clock shops anymore.
Of course, my workshop remains her sweet creative refuge where she can find her dreaming, surrounded with my lovely fellow travellers and shaping all these little objects which one day will fly away towards a new horizon, always at your side.
Today, she moves and go on craft or pottery markets, and of course her brand new website.
The products are realized with a white clay, threw or modeled according to Claire's desires but she reserves the throwing for the utilitarian productions (bowls, vases, cups, salad bowls...); She models her little characters; She's very preoccupied about their physical appearance because they require more details and precisions; some special tools and my fingers only can do it.
