Skyland, The New World...

I've just discover this fabulous series " Skyland"...
I feel like when i was 10 years old and my older brother took me to the cinema in 1985 to watch "Star wars"!!!
Whatever you do in your adult life, your childhood is still there, inside you : i try to keep it lively!
I just enjoy this series 'cause i need to dream!
The story :
In the year 2251, the earth has been shattered into tens of millions of aimlessly drifting blocks around the earth's core. Oslo, a power-hungry dictator, controls this land, referred to as Skyland. Oslo possesses telekinetic, or "Seijin" powers that have allowed him to seize control of water, the most precious resource on Skyland.

beautifull natural beauty of Gippsland region - Australia

This week end, we went to visit Gippsland for a nature week-end.
The Gippsland region is full of natural beauty, including Australia’s largest system of inland waterways, beautiful Ninety Mile Beach ...So nice!
This is another side of Austrlia very different of the picture of dry and sunny lands we use to see in all guide about tourism in Australia.
Some places of this area make me think of 'Camargue" in France, with large green wet land and horses, a lot of birds variety etc...We found a beautigul small town named "Venus bay" with a nice spot close to the beach where we slept!

Some fotos...

Back to france

A few news about our australian life...
Unfortunately, Julie had to go back in france quickly because of her dear aunt's death.
So this days are a little bit sad for us, and specialy for Julie who loved her so much.!
Anyway, that's just life and for me as an African, i have a philosophic spirit about that, we use to "deal" with death, because in african culture, it's not a shame, we don't hide it!
That's it!
I don't believe in any god but still i guess and i like to think that her aunt is more happy now that this nasty cancert is over.

Sure that for Julie and her family it will be hard and i have a thought for Julie, but the positive is that other's death always make us grow up if we are able to understand that it is a necessity of the life cycle.
Of course when it's concern a natural/ long sick peoples...
