It's been a while since my last post on the USA trip...
the reason why I didn't write on my blog is because I was very busy with my work.
As some of you already know, I'm working for the new political party, the Liberal National Party - LNP in Queensland since April 2008.

My job is very interesting, I'm in charge of the website of the party but also of the springborg.com, the leader of the opposition here in Queensland.
I had completely design the website of lnp.org.au, set up all the enewsletter system for online subscription but also for the party's members.
I also have to do all the marketing to brand the party online onto the social network, Youtube, Facebook etc...and manage the weekly newsletter, provide with new ideas and set up all the other websites (coming up) around the party.
I also had to set up the entire hosting system based on a web dedicated sever for more security since it's a political party...SSL certificate, encryption data etc...
The web dedicated server is a Linux base, I'm more into Linux than the stupid Windows system

After the tow party margin in July 2008 (former National and former Liberal), I had to do different thing than web design such as help to define a company for the IT on site maintenance, set up all the computers for the staff here in our office and help set up the new system on our local server based on Windows 2003 server with an outlook exchange system + VPN.

I have to admit that this was not the most exciting part of the job and I'm more than happy to be back in web design...I did it because I had to help and I have the knowledge for that but...mmhhh

That's all about my exciting full time job for now. I like this Job and the team is really nice to work with,
