Hi everyone,
while the autumn is starting in europe, here the summer begin!!!
This week-end we went with friends of us to a nice spot : Coolum beach. It's located on the sunshine coast at 2 hours from Brisbane by car on the north and we really appreciated it because that wasn't so touristic. Most of people was local and families, all very friendly and everything was quite affordable.

I was there with Hugo and Natasha our friends from Vancouver who are here for a couple of months.
So of course we had a lot of fun, BBq + beer + fun time on the beach.
I was surprised by the power of waves, the ocean here is really dangerous, that's amazing!
Big fear when i was touched a jellyfish. They are unbelieving huge, and i'm not that familiar with the ocean, so i had a little panic when i felt them on my arm, my foot...you know, they are so many bad stories about Australia and dangerous animals, ocean etc...but every things got back in order after speaking with the life guard. So, yeah now i know what is a jellyfish and the sensation you have on your skin when you touch them...i don't want to repeat the experience, thanks!
Without this little story we really had fun together, and the weather was just perfect.

Here's the direction from Brisby to Coolum :
