Skyland, The New World...

I've just discover this fabulous series " Skyland"...
I feel like when i was 10 years old and my older brother took me to the cinema in 1985 to watch "Star wars"!!!
Whatever you do in your adult life, your childhood is still there, inside you : i try to keep it lively!
I just enjoy this series 'cause i need to dream!
The story :
In the year 2251, the earth has been shattered into tens of millions of aimlessly drifting blocks around the earth's core. Oslo, a power-hungry dictator, controls this land, referred to as Skyland. Oslo possesses telekinetic, or "Seijin" powers that have allowed him to seize control of water, the most precious resource on Skyland.

Traitors

It is very interesting to know how many member of the new french governement team are coming out from another politic side.
Finaly, when we think about it, most of people who followed Mr Sarkozy are "Traitors" who come from another side and changed their mind after the results of elections.
Even if this is usual in politic, i've never seen this at this scale, i don't think it's possible to built a "constructiv" politic project with most of the people who are just awaiting for the opportunity to take neighbor's place.
Sarkozy presents that as "the politic opening"!
That's the way it's presented to people via the media.
I think it's just the best way to kill other politic force and have a complet power.
And that's very dangerous for democracy, because the opposition is necessary.
The actual prime minister was fired by the former Chirac's govenrnment and joined Sarkozy just because he was frustrated of that.

I think that when the first difficult will arrive for this government (evreryone knows french poeple...), all of them will become back like before Sarkozy victory.
I don't think that it's possible to change 30 years of unemployement in 5 years just with a good comunication campaign.
Our president N. Sarkozy is a frustrated man and his power is to be able to convince other frustrate politicians to join him : When you build a team with Traitors, one day they will betray you! That's the game in politics...This is the team of revenge, nothing positiv!

The second chairman of TF1 (first huge french TV channel) is the second "right arm" of N. Sarkozy!!! Moreover, unfortunatly I don't think that the spirit of the french people did really changed, the problem is cultural in France and can't be changed just with a few laws and more police!
We need long term work, we need to spend more time and money in education, we need to change the way we use taxes, we need to just learn how to talk and find realist solution together when we have problem, stop be jalous of other success, stop complain, stop put the gulty on neighbours !!!

The same...

Our brand new french president who offert people to "work more to earn more" did the choice of our "brand new prime mimister". Those 2 where already in the former governement and more thant the half of the "new" minister team is issued from the former governement of Mr De Villepin.
In France we use to say : "take the same and re-start again"!

I don't understand why the french poeple is so naive...nothing will really change and i think that this goverment will drive the politic as a business. The problem is that you can't manage a country like a business...we are talking about human, people, worker and family.

Unfortunatly, i really belive that Mr Sarkozy will do exactly the same as Mr Chirac did with a different packagin, because this is the same spirit, the same root...so the effects will be exactly the same.
French people don't seems to understand that this team is only business men, not politics with a real socity project, and they will drive the country as a business with idea of pure productivity and competition...that could good and we need it strongly in France but in politic human frame.

More than 18 million of french are buying online...

Thisd is the sign of a sustenable business revolution in the Internet business in europe.
Now this share of market exist and all the companies will have to change their strategy!

People Power

First, steam power replaced muscle power and launched the Industrial Revolution. Then Henry Ford’s assembly line, along with advances in steel and plastic, ushered in the Second Industrial Revolution. Next came silicon and the Information Age.

beautifull natural beauty of Gippsland region - Australia

This week end, we went to visit Gippsland for a nature week-end.
The Gippsland region is full of natural beauty, including Australia’s largest system of inland waterways, beautiful Ninety Mile Beach ...So nice!
This is another side of Austrlia very different of the picture of dry and sunny lands we use to see in all guide about tourism in Australia.
Some places of this area make me think of 'Camargue" in France, with large green wet land and horses, a lot of birds variety etc...We found a beautigul small town named "Venus bay" with a nice spot close to the beach where we slept!

Some fotos...

The populism of French president!

What about a people who wants extreme solution ?

Europe had very happy time until the 80's. But after several crises, bad and weak politics solutions, people became more and more poor and unhappy. But the politicians was still deaf as usual! Therefor, we reach the extreme and people wanted heavy and hard solution. France is not an exception, following Italy, with Berlusconi , Austria, and Russia or USA, the people send a hard signal to government in 2002 with Mr Jean Marie Le pen (extreme right and racist leader).

Today Mr Sarkozy understood very well that this was the key of victory : the extreme right people! And he did it well.
But every one know that this is the danger of populism, it an uncontrollable population. As soon as they feel that they have a leader who represent their ideas, they think their right! Then we don't know where is the end of those ideas! Of course, the paradox is that mr Sarkozy has foreign origin...as a lot of dictator...mmhh, interesting! Today Italy can't find political stability any more and we don't know what will happen after Mr Bush or Vladimir Putine ?

When leaders use hard force, power and police instead of law, education and economical exchange, it s very difficult to come back after because force calls force!!!

PS: my english is not good enough to express all the complexity of this political reflexion...but i 'll improve it with the time.

The winner !!!

So finally French choose their president
Nicola sarkozy!!!
That's the winer of the superball organized by the media a long time ago.
This race was so long and so hard, but as usual no discussion of real political society project!
It is clear that now in France we don't make a choice any more for project but for a personality. And without the media it's impossible to win this kind of big race!
As usual, the more deep are the problems, the more populist is the people choice. French did their choice and we must now try Mr Sarkozy recipes to improve this country. This choice is not my choice at all, but we must respect it. i'm afraid that the other part of french who was supported Segolene Royal will be so upset that they will have stupid and violent attitude as they use to do, and that's not the right's side fault as someone suppose but left side who still doesn't accept the rules of the democracy.
It will be obvious that a huge part of the LEFT in France don't know what discussion and democracy means, they are not mature and they need more a father than a politic leader.
So i think that the next 5 years will be extremely difficult in France, but that's normal when you know how deep are the problems. We 've been waiting to long before changing!!! So now it will be as hard as France was blind!

Even if i don't trust the new president at all, i just hope that this new president's ideas will really help France at least a little bit. Without that, it will be very hard after and we could go back to dark times...People are so unhappy!
Good luck Mr Sarkozy and every one cross fingers for France
just one last thing : the place the media took in this race is just disgusting!!!

Back to france

A few news about our australian life...
Unfortunately, Julie had to go back in france quickly because of her dear aunt's death.
So this days are a little bit sad for us, and specialy for Julie who loved her so much.!
Anyway, that's just life and for me as an African, i have a philosophic spirit about that, we use to "deal" with death, because in african culture, it's not a shame, we don't hide it!
That's it!
I don't believe in any god but still i guess and i like to think that her aunt is more happy now that this nasty cancert is over.

Sure that for Julie and her family it will be hard and i have a thought for Julie, but the positive is that other's death always make us grow up if we are able to understand that it is a necessity of the life cycle.
Of course when it's concern a natural/ long sick peoples...
