Now that French people did their choice for the second tour elections, they want the traditional both side : left against right!

But there is still questions about this result :
- is it because the pressure of the media who focused all informations on the both main candidate along the campaign ?
- or is it because of the remembering of the elections of 2002 with a catastrophic result (extreme right candidate on second tour)
i think is the both, i thing no one wanted to have the same result, therefore no one wanted to take any risk and get back to classic schema : including the media. I also think that the right candidate N.Sarkozy, used this argument and this fear of extreme as a threaten for everyone who will try to think different...
If a politic is built on this base...we see what happened to USA and their dear Mr Bush! Unfortunately, i think that French people want a political chock, but the following days will be difficult for everyone.
Of course my choice will be for Mrs S.Royal, even if i thing that she doesn't have the skills to be president, at least will could be proud to have a woman president and that will change people minds...instead of this nasty and violent frustrated small cow boy!

After buying our new super station wagon, it's time to experience driving to the right side!
Not easy!!!
Of course at the beginning you have to strongly focused on the signs, and think about all your driver behaviors, thinking about the good side in a round about...but after my first 1000 Kms, i start now to change my mind, even if it is still strange to change speeds with left hand...

Anyway, i find that Aussies drives really bad, and specially in Melbourne. You can sometimes easily feel like your are in a car race...
The good thing is that we have now more freedom with the car and test the romantic nights sleeping in a nice spot on the great ocean road...

it is really crazy to sea what happen in USA -VIRGINIA...there are no name !!!

I don't understand how a whole society can be so blind ? 33 young students killed and the only solution i've heard : give weapons to the teacher so they could protect the students !!!

The facts are clear since severals years, the weapons culture was applicable in the old far-west time...we are in the 21th century now and i don't understand why people still need to own a gun ?! This same people who get down the street to shout :"no more war in IRAK" Then, it is interesting to note this paradox : it is one of the most advanced and modern society that have the most archaic and barbarian behaviors.

Think about it, does it means that humans can't change ? That at least we are and ONLY instinctive animals ? And still the same question : what the benefit of progress, can we really use the word "evolution" for human being ? can we really use the verb "to improve" for our species ?

When a see what happend wyth the Social Party in France, my choice will definitly be FRANCOIS BAYROU, the center candidate.
In the social party, it seems to be no coherence and the team seems to fight each other, i means they don't have a constructive attitude.
Every time the media speak about them, it's always about internal arguements...between the formers members and what they call the new generation and specialy Mrs Royal team.
I'm verry upset about that because i really tought that even if this woman didn't have all the shills, it was good for France to have a woman and a fresh team.Allmost to begun a new period for the country.
But we can see today that the spirit of this party is still the same since 30 years...
So i think this centrist candidate is the good choice because no one wanted to trade with him and it's good because as a new candidate, he will have to improuve himself and this will be the benefit of french people!!!
So we must give his chance to Francois Bayrou.

My first concert in Australia,
Last week-end, the easter week end, we were in Warrnambool (in the south of Australia) to visit some friends of Julie and they now a guitarist, Alex.
This guy had to play in a pub on saturday afternoon and asked me to join him.
I did it and we played some bossa nova and few jazz standards.
That was great, and we both enjoed it.
Unfortunatly, Alex live in Warrnambool and we can realy play often together.
But that was a first good musical experience for me here and I wish a could met other musicians after.
My project is to find enough musician to build a new jazz band here. I think that thanks to the gold coast touristic activities, we could find some place to play.

I just hope that for this new elections, french people won't make a catastrophical choice again.
I have a bad feeling about that because the french politicians don't seem to hear and/or understand the people, and the topics of this campaign are still the same as five years ago!!! NOTHING CHANGE IN FRANCE.

I think there is really a big danger for this country...things goes bad, and politicians still fighting each other instead of trying to find solutions for the people : 9 % unemployement for this country mamber of the G8!
200 upgraduate young poeple who leave the country every year... The first tour is in 6 days!!!

a new step in our Australian live: we have a new car!!!
Thats a second hand car with a lot of Kms of course, but this is our first car here...
So for us this means a lot of toutistic week end to discover the land with our mistubishi magna station wagon. We are verry happy about that!!!
The other good news it also that Julie will may be have a job in an internet cafe, we will know about that the next days.
So the next massages will be about what we visit here. For the moment, we are in Melbourn for several weeks again and we still waiting that Telstra (the telecomunication australian company) fixe a problem in our house, so that we could have a broadnad connection.

Julie and me arrived in Australia the 7th of march. So we have been here for one month yesterday...
After a very hard arrival because of too much sports competitions in Melboure that was so busy, we have found a acommodation well located in this large city.
And it was verry difficult to find an acomodations in Melbourne.
We are just discovering so many things every days, it is so exciting !!!

After this first month here in Australia, we find that people are very kind, Australian are relax and it's easy to have a contact with people, but you should love beer : and i do !

We went to the gold coast for 1 week and we loved it because of the tropical weather of course and i prefer country as big center. Actually we are in Warrnambool for the easter week end and we visited by car the great ocean road witch is so beautiful. Of course we also test the pub...friendly!
